WPDtree is a nice plugin for WordPress that creates the tree structure I used on this site under the categories. Can also be used for the links and pages menu but I choose not to. Lots of settings can be made from the wordpress UI. It is also combined with the script.aculo.us animation effect plugin from the same writer.

What more to say then that this stuff works! Their famous 5 minute install is doable within the stated 5 minutes and you can customize anything you want! Get your own blog, get into the scene at the wordpress site

I started with a template I found at the WordPress site however, when I tried to create the d13Gallery with suckerfish hoverlightbox I ran into some serious trouble. I ran across this site where you can download several blank templates. I started with one of these, integrated the d13 suckerfish and started updating the style.css with stuff I mostly had from the adjustments I made to the first template. Within one day I made the skin for my site. Love these blank templates! If I ever start over I’ll defenitly start with one of these.

I combined the D13Gallery with the suckerfish hoverlightbox to create the WordPress galleries currently displayed in the posts. Without use of flash this is by far the best looking gallery software imho. Oh yeah, did I mention it’s free? With css so you can get your own look-and-feel like I did.
