Monopod lightstand conversion DIY

Added another piece of gear to my collection: a simple monopod. Also for use as strobe on a rope at weddings. But, out of the box just doesn’t cut it for me. 😉 So what to do with a monopod?

Strobist Lighting 102: Apparent size & specular highlight

For the apparent size I used different reflectors and stuff, nothing fancy. I guess I should’ve set the flash more to the right since that would make the diffused highlight-to-shadow transfer area more clear. The specular highlight was something else,

Metz umbrella holder

I made myself the simplest diy umbrella holder for Metz (maybe other) flashes you can think of… Get yourself: a. an old Metz flash holder and b. a metal strip. Drill one hole in the metal strip, make a round
